Corn Washing Machine for Tortilla Chips

This spiral corn washing machine is dedicated pre-processing equipment installed at the front of production lines for tortilla chips and fried corn kernels. It is arranged before the mill to thoroughly clean whole corn grains, removing surface dust, sediment, husk impurities and residual lye. It guarantees hygienic standard and stable texture of finished masa, baked and fried products, and can be perfectly connected to full automatic corn deep processing lines.

Main Structure & Features

Internal Spiral Washing Conveying Structure
Equipped with integrated spiral screw inside the tank, corn grains tumble and rub continuously during transportation to fully strip surface contaminants with even cleaning effect. Standard dimension: total tank length 2700mm, tank diameter 700mm, offering long cleaning path and high processing capacity.
Auto Spraying & Recirculating Water System with Sanitary Pump
Multiple groups of high-pressure auto spray nozzles are installed on the machine. The circulating water system matched with food-grade sanitary pump realizes water recycling to cut water consumption greatly. The sanitary pump features smooth surface without dead corners, easy disassembly and cleaning to meet food hygiene requirements.
Adjustable Rotating Speed
The driving system supports stepless speed regulation. Operators can adjust the spiral conveying speed according to corn feeding volume and dirt level, flexibly control corn residence cleaning time to fit different production capacity.
Food-grade 304 Stainless Steel Construction
All parts contacting corn and water are made of 304 stainless steel, anti-corrosion and resistant to alkaline water erosion, easy to rinse and maintain without scale buildup.
